Make it hard2def, Make it sweat!

First of all let’s move away from the overused words of these days, announcing that every second DJ or so-called DJ is one of the most booked, most popular and/or best rated record-spinners in Germany or even in Europe.

Miles away from these clichés and the need to make themselves bigger than they are, you can find those, who impress people with quality, skills and their unique ability to rock the crowd. And Hard2Def counts himself to this minority in the spinning community. With over a dozen releases, played by DJs all over the globe and an overwhelming reference list of clubs in countries allover Europe, Hard2Def has not to hide himself.

Djing since 1999, he also started his career as a producer at the same time. His debut single “Bounce with me” on the legendary german oldschool label M-Pire Records, made DJs and crowds in european clubs go insane and still counts to the list of the most wanted partybreak vinyls. By producing one clubcrushing single after another Hard2Def made himself the godfather of the partybreak community in Germany and founded a movement, that still lives on. But after achieving his personal goals Hard2Def left this genre to move on to the next level: Producing music instead of remixing it.

So he started to work with artists like Jesse Al Malik, Icebear, Mike K.Downing, Bobby Tinsley, Yeyo, Notch and many more, and this work added another couple of records to his discography, which made the top 5 of the german urban charts DBC. In 2003 he joined the DJ-Family of Radio JamFM, Germany’s biggest urban radio station and played on the club tours of the station, which were broadcasted live on German radio and on European satellite radio. He also did background work for the JamFM's "Battle of DJs", a nationwide dj contest. In 2006 he left the JamFM Team for good, played guest appearances on various stations like BigFM, Sunshine Live, Radio NRJ, Radio Galaxy , etc. and joined the Planet Radio urban DJ Crew in 2009, playing both on radio & live on the station’s own partybrand "Planet Radio Black Beats live".

Hard2Def supported Artists like Shakira, Redman, the Beatnuts, Mario Winans, Pitbull, Fatman Scoop, Bone Crusher, Destiny’s Child, DJ Kool, Bubba Sparxxx, the YingYang Twins, Truth Hurts, Cassidy and many more during their german and/or european tours, by playing warm-ups, after-shows or even as the DJ during the show on stage.

What is coming next? Well, Hard2Def still works as a producer with artists from Germany, the States and a couple of other countries. The project "Clubcrushers" (Hard2Def, Rapture & Valentino Moroder) is gaining attention with every release, working the ranks up to the worldwide level.

And last but not least, he still spins the records every weekend, making the crowd move the defclusive way!!!
